Four checks, no score

BitcoinCasinoID is a Canadian-facing guide to online casinos and sportsbooks that take cryptocurrency. It is a publisher, not an operator: there is no cashier here, no account to open and no game to play.

What the site does is read the documents an operator publishes about itself — terms and conditions, bonus rules, the cashier page, the licence entry in a regulator's register — and set them out side by side so that a player in Ontario or Alberta can see, in one screen, who is licensed to serve them, what a withdrawal costs and how long it takes.

What we check, and what we cannot

Every brand on this site is judged on documents, not on play. We check the licence against the register that issued it, the payment methods against the cashier page, the wagering terms against the bonus rules, and the country list against the operator's own restricted-territories clause. When two of those contradict each other — and they often do — the stricter one is what the page reports, with the date of the reading on it.

We do not open accounts, deposit money, claim bonuses or time withdrawals, and nothing on this site is written as though we had. A page that says a payout takes two hours is quoting the operator's stated processing time, not a stopwatch. Where there is no published figure, the field is left out rather than filled in; a blank is honest and a guess is not. Player-facing complaints and forum reports are read, but they are attributed to the people who made them, never presented as our own experience.

Canada first

The rules that matter here are Canadian. There is no such thing as a Canada-wide gambling licence: iGaming Ontario and the AGCO licence operators for Ontario, every other province regulates its own market, and the legal age is 19 almost everywhere but 18 in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec. Offshore sites licensed in Curaçao, Malta or Anjouan accept Canadian players without being licensed in Canada, which changes what recourse a player has if something goes wrong. Pages here say which of those a brand is, because it is the single fact that most changes the answer to «is this safe for me».

Payment coverage follows the same logic. Interac e-Transfer, iDebit and Instadebit are the rails Canadians actually use, so a casino that advertises crypto but cannot move Canadian dollars is described that way, and the Interac list is kept separate from the crypto list for exactly that reason.

Who writes the pages

The pages are written and maintained by the site's own small editorial desk. We do not publish invented bylines, stock-photo authors or staff counts: if a page carries no personal name, that is because no single person owns it, not because the name is being hidden. Questions about how a particular list was built are answered at the address below, and the method itself is published rather than described in the abstract.

How this site is put together

BitcoinCasinoID publishes lists and reviews of casinos and sportsbooks that take cryptocurrency. Each page is built from the operator's own published terms, licence registers and cashier pages; our method, and the four checks a brand has to pass before it appears in a list, are set out in full on how we rate a crypto casino.

How we are paid

Some links on this site are affiliate links: if you open an account through one, the operator may pay us a commission. That costs you nothing, changes no bonus you are offered, and does not buy a position in any list. Links of that kind are marked, and the method page explains what decides the order instead.
