General information only
The pages on bitcoincasinoid.com describe crypto casinos, sportsbooks and the rules that apply to them, in general terms. Nothing here is advice — legal, tax, financial or about investments — and your personal situation is not considered. A ranking reports how brands compare on the four checks explained in how we rate. It cannot say that a casino suits you, and it never suggests that staking savings in cryptocurrency is wise. It is not.
No gambling licence, and none needed
BitcoinCasinoID is a publication of Calpeworth Media Group Limited, a media company. It operates no casino and sits on no gaming regulator's register; it needs no gambling licence, since no wager is ever placed with it. Any licence number in a review is the casino's own, copied from the public register or from the operator's footer on the date shown. Licences get suspended and expire after our reading, and the register always outranks this site.
Ten provinces, ten rulebooks
There is no licence that covers online casinos across Canada. Ontario's market is open to private operators under supervision: the AGCO registers them and iGaming Ontario signs operating agreements with them, and no one else may lawfully target players there. Since 13 July 2026 Alberta has had a regulated market of its own, overseen by the AGLC. In the remaining provinces the government lottery body is the sole domestic online casino.
Plenty of the brands reviewed here hold licences issued abroad — Curaçao, Malta, the Isle of Man, Anjouan, Kahnawake — and take Canadian sign-ups with no provincial registration. Each review names the category. How your own province views a particular brand is something no review can settle; confirm it yourself prior to signing up. Canadian readers must be 19+ (18+ in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec). Readers in other countries should follow their own law, which in some places bans online gambling outright.
Complaints against an offshore casino
With a casino licensed outside your province, a dispute starts with the operator; next comes the foreign regulator — if that regulator handles player complaints at all. In practice Canadian consumer protection may help very little. Our reviews describe the complaint route as the licence sets it out. We cannot represent you, raise your account with a casino or get a balance back.
Risks that come with coins
Coins held in a casino balance rise and fall with the market even when you have not played a round. Most chains offer no undo button: coins sent to a mistyped address, over an unsupported chain or missing a destination tag usually cannot be recovered. Network fees, withdrawal minimums and the rate a casino uses to turn coins into playing credit move constantly and will rarely match what we noted. A stablecoin is only as solid as its issuer. A brand listed as «no-KYC» when we looked may still demand identity papers, typically just as you try to withdraw.
For the tax side of crypto winnings and coin disposals, ask the CRA or an accountant who knows crypto. Our guides frame the questions without settling them for you.
Bonus figures
Welcome packages, free spins, rakeback and reloads are copied from each operator's promotions page and bonus rules as they stood when we wrote. Playthrough multiples, how each game counts, the bet cap during playthrough, expiry dates and excluded countries are what turn a headline number into its real value, and the operator may alter any of them. AGCO rules bar welcome-bonus advertising aimed at Ontario, so the bonus numbers here are not addressed to readers there. What the cashier shows at the moment you opt in is binding; our page is not.
Numbers, dates and our own mistakes
Each page shows when its numbers were last verified. Mistakes are fixed as soon as we spot them or a reader flags one; still, no page is guaranteed current, complete or error-free at the moment you open it. Where a source printed no figure, we leave the field blank instead of guessing. A payout speed on this site is the operator's declared processing time, never one we clocked.
Provably fair games and smart contracts
Explanations of provably fair games or on-chain contracts describe the mechanism each operator publishes. No casino's code has been audited by us. Showing how to check a server seed does not certify that a game is fair, nor that its real house edge equals the one on screen.
Brands and quoted material
Brand marks of casinos, game studios and coin projects remain with whoever registered them; they appear here as labels for the thing under review, nothing more. Passages from operator terms, regulator notices or player complaints are credited to whoever wrote them. A link to another site is not an endorsement of all it publishes.
Where our responsibility ends
So far as applicable law lets us, Calpeworth Media Group Limited carries no responsibility for loss connected with this site or the sites it points to: money lost gambling, cashouts that are refused or held up, frozen accounts, swings in coin prices, lost keys or transfers sent in error. Any responsibility the law makes impossible to waive remains untouched by this paragraph.
When it stops being fun
Take a break and speak to someone. ConnexOntario takes calls free of charge and in confidence (1-866-531-2600), and the responsible gambling page explains the cooling-off, limit and self-exclusion features a licensed casino has to provide.
